A quiet house for the hours between.
Cae Benir is a deliberate house devoted to the moments that resist photography — the amber pause before a sentence, the hush of linen at four in the morning, the weight of a coat across a chair.
Through poetry, narration, cinematic short film, and fragrance, we attempt the same act: to name a moment so it might be returned to.
The intention is single, and old as memory itself — to distill the moments that matter into fragrance, so the ones worth keeping can be carried forward as stories you wear on your skin. A memory, preserved in the only language that bypasses thought and arrives directly at feeling.

Four chambers, one breath.
Verse
Poems, stories, and verses written for the corners of the day. The first breath — the seed from which every chamber, and ultimately the fragrance, begins to grow.
Narration
Voice as candlelight. The written word lifted into sound — recorded readings and ambient pieces that carry the verse one phase closer to scent.
Cinema
Short cinematic films — long takes, ambient color, scenes that linger past their welcome on purpose. The verse made visible, deepening the world the fragrance will eventually inhabit.
Fragrance
The final form. Every chamber before it — verse, narration, cinema — is a phase of the fragrance's birth. What began as a poem is now something you can wear on your skin.
From a father’s shelf, to a house in Atlanta.
There was a shelf in my father's room. A row of bottles, kept like instruments — each one a different weather. As a boy I would stand in front of it and lift them, one at a time, learning that a person could be remembered by the air they left behind.
Years later, after an injury pulled me out of the life I thought I was building, I found myself unmoored — long evenings, a single lamp, the city outside doing its quiet work without me. My father said one thing that stayed: be where you are.
CAE BENIR began in those evenings. A small Atlanta house devoted to the hours that almost pass unnoticed — and to the belief, inherited from that shelf, that scent is one of the most direct ways the world comes to know us.
The first edition, In the Evening, is one of those moments — a night that refused to stay, distilled until it could be worn. That is the whole of it: to take the hours that almost pass unnoticed, preserve them in fragrance, and offer them back as stories you can carry on your skin.
Everything this house makes returns to that single intention.
The reason this house exists is hidden in Plate I — found on the Experience page.
